Dance Ministry
The mission of the Mount Neboh Baptist Church Dance Ministry is to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ and to exalt His name with the highest praise—all through movement and dance. Psalms 149:3 says, “Let them praise His name in the dance…”
The praise dancers have a determination to serve Christ and to use their “gifts” of dance to promote messages of healing, love, unity, and most of all, God’s grace and mercy!
The praise dance ministry is a beautiful collaboration of women and each praise dancer has a heart of love for the Lord.

The Deacon Ministry is an extension of our pastor. It is an awesome, yet rewarding responsibility. The purpose of the Deacon Ministry is to assist the pastor and the members of the church by meeting the needs of the congregation and visitors through baptizing the converted, encouraging the bereaved, and serving communion to the redeemed.
This ministry further serves by assisting first time friends and visitors, offering spiritual guidance, visiting the sick, and teaching the Word of God.

The Men's Fellowship Ministry is part of a group of ministries designed to support the mission of our church and vision of our Pastor. This ministry consists of the men of the Mt. Neboh Baptist Church but, is open to visitors and friends.
Our strength is in the men who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; are committed to seeing the Kingdom of God established here on earth and desire to provide a haven for the people of God to worship and praise peacefully.
Our objective is to:
· Have an open relationship with God and a committed fellowship with other men.
· Grow daily in the word of God.
· Build a Christ-like character.
· Become bold witnesses of the Gospel, through one-to-one evangelism.
· Discover and use their spiritual gifts in the body of Christ.

This ministry is for the purpose of offering love and support to those who are suffering from Terminal Illness, Living with HIV (AIDS) & Recovering from drug/alcohol abuse. It is also for persons in the congregation who have experienced or are presently experiencing multiple forms of abuse such as:
· Domestic
· Spousal
· Sexual
· Physical
· Mental etc.

This is a ministry designed for Christian women within the church who desire fellowship with other sisters in Christ. There are a variety of ministry opportunities offered to meet the needs of women who seek to grow in their relationship with Christ and fellowship with other Christian women.

Kerygma is the Greek word which means the act of proclaiming or preaching.
The purpose of Kerygma is to enrich and equip those who are called to the preaching ministry. Preachers are afforded opportunities to develop their gifts by serving in ministry. The Kerygma Ministry presents praticum of study and development to assist each participant to be the proclaimer God has called into His vineyard. In addition, participants will learn effective and efficient ministry operations.

This ministry is designed to enrich the lives of couples who are married, engaged or considering marriage. The Marriage Ministry is committed to bringing couples into a closer intimate relationship with God and their mates by:
· Providing tools to enrich marriage through educational activities to promote communication and intimacy.
· Providing biblical understanding of the precepts of marriage so that God will be glorified in our marriages.
· Marriage Builder Classes
· Host Workshops
· Conferences and Retreats
· And other events designed to equip and enrich the lives of families.

Missionaries seek to carry out the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world, and to disciple and equip believers in foreign lands for Kingdom Work. It is also the goal of this ministry to support the denominational work that is already taking place in foreign countries through the financial support of both our Home and Foreign Mission Boards of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. and the National Baptist Convention of America.

The mission of the Nurses Ministry is inclusive, but not limited to, offering and providing comfort and aide to the Pastor, congregation, and visitors during church fellowship. Operating in the flow of the Holy Spirit, the nurses administer to the natural needs while the Holy Spirit renders to the spiritual needs of each individual.

This ministry is designed to take the Gospel to the far corners of the earth, to locations that we as a church do not often travel. As we strive to fulfill the Great Commandment of God there are new innovations in technology that can enhance the ways in which we communicate with each other as a congregation and with both the surrounding and global community.
The Mt. Neboh Baptist Church Online Ministry is another channel of communication by which we are able to deliver the Lord's Gospel within a global society. We are able to extend our witness farther and more frequently via the worldwide web then our earthly bodies could ever take us.

The Pastor's Aide Ministry is a service ministry that provides direct personal support to the Pastor. This ministry, working with and through the congregation and lay members of the church, meets the needs of the pastor with prayer and personal, physical and financial support and/or encouragement.
The ministry's goals are accomplished by hosting fundraising events at the church, such as the Rainbow Tea Extravaganza.

Bible study classes are held on Sunday mornings for ages 5 and older. The Sunday School Ministry gives members an opportunity to study the biblical lessons of the bible and discuss them in an open forum for practical application in daily life.

The purpose and function of the Ushers' Ministry is to meet, greet and seat the parishioners as they enter the sanctuary. The Usher's Ministry is an extension of God's hands to the people. The Ministry of Ushering is a personal representation of Jesus Christ who meets people on a person-to-person basis when they first arrive at Mount Neboh Baptist Church. The ushers serve many roles: watchmen, servants, disciplinarians and host, just to name a few.

The Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to students of the Mt. Neboh Baptist Church each year. The number and amounts offered are evaluated each year based on the monies available through donations and fund raising. The criteria for scholarship awards are based on scholastic achievement, a written essay and church participation.
