Free Summer Meals for NYC Youth

 

   School is out, and FREE summer meals are in, from June 29th through August 27th. Any child 18 years old and under can enjoy a free, healthy, and great-tasting breakfast and lunch every weekday at hundreds of schools, pools, parks, New York City Housing Authority complexes, and other locations around New York City.

 

   No registration, documentation, or ID is required: your child doesn’t even need to be enrolled in public school to enjoy a delicious free meal. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Finding a summer meals site near you is easy: just call 311 to find a convenient location or to learn more about the program.

Youth Usher Board 

 
 
  • Church ushers introduce worshippers to the church, and are soul winners for Christ.
  • Church ushers have a mission to propagate the church spirit throughout the congregation.
  • Church ushers help the pastor make the service a success by putting the congregation in the right frame of mind to receive the message.
  • Therefore, ushers greet the worshippers of Mount Neboh with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome and direct them to comfortable seats. 
  • Church ushers are forerunners who prepare the church for its guest.
  • Church ushers are doorkeepers in the house of the Lord who guard the doors during service.

 

Girl Talk - Ages 13 to 18

Girl Talk is a mentoring program committed to the betterment of young women in urban communities. We are able to fulfill our passion through the social interaction of the group, while encouraging their spiritual and emotional growth. 

 

Youth Choir - Ages 5 to 18  

 

Sis. Odessia Brown and Neka Harrison Coordinators

 

The Mount Neboh Youth Choir brings the youth of our church together in song. Rehearsals are held every Saturday at 11:00am before the 2nd and 3rd Sundays.  The choir sings on the 3rd Sunday of every month during the 11:00am worship service.

  

Anointed Dance Ministry - Ages 5 to 18

 

The Anointed Dance Ministry proclaims the message of Jesus Christ and exalts His name all through movement and dance. Psalms 149:3 says, “Let them praise His name in the dance…”    The praise dancers serve Christ and use their “gifts” of dance to promote messages of healing, love, unity, and most of all, God’s grace and mercy!
